Hey Zoners,
I've got a suggestions for a couple of sites where you guys can read books online for free. There is no registration with user name or password required and they are totally accessible to blind users.Ok, here goes.
First site:

Second site:

http://www.pagebypagebooks.com

The Litrix site is a place where you can read all your classic children and adult favorites by chapter. The second is self-explanatory and one does an awful lot of pressing the enter key on all the next page link. Ok, that's it. Let me know if any of you like these sites. I found them totally by accident. Porn is not the only thing you find by accident by searching on the web, thank God.

Yeah. Thanks for the websites. I checked out the first one so far, and I like that it's easy to use because you don't have to go far down the page to find the list of stories. *smile*

I just wanted to say that I checked out both websites and I love them! Though the second site is a bit of a pain because of having to click all the time for the next page! lol But it's still awesome. Are there any other sites like these?

Yeah. They all seem to be public domain books, but I guess they can still be good alternatives to Project Gutenburg in a way. For instance, I like how in litrix.com, that the books are listed near the top of the page where they are quick to find, and not sure who would want to keep clicking after each page for the other site, but that might work for someone else. *smile*

Some other sites that also mainly have public domain books are: http://promo.net/pg/, and http://www.infomotions.com/alex/.

Sites that have books and materials on a variety of things are: http://www.ipl.org/div/books/, and http://digital.library.upenn.edu/books/.

Also, there are sites focusing on specific things. http://epe.lac-bac.gc.ca/e-coll-e/index-e.htm is a public website with Canadian material, and http://infomine.ucr.edu/ focuses on college material from several California universities.
